Hours: School release - 6:00pm.
Holidays: Open most holidays including Winter Break, Spring Break, and Teacher Workdays
Transportation: Girls are transported from approximately 12 local schools to the Girls Club of Alachua County.
Snack: Upon arrival girls have the option of purchasing a snack from the concession stand (items range from $0.25 - $1.00).
Community Involvement: At least once a week the girls are taken into the community or groups come to the Club to educate and entertain the girls. Field trips include visiting local attractions, parks and centers. Groups that have made a commitment to the Girls Club include the University of Florida Panhellenic Council and the Women's Leadership Council at the University of Florida.
Activities: Two times a week the girls are led in a primary and secondary sports experience (i.e., volleyball and yoga). Additional time is spent in arts & crafts, the computer room, and outside activities. A homework session is staffed by recreational aides and volunteers Monday-Thursday (Friday if necessary) from 4:30 - close.
